Brigands of Mirkwood

This is an excellent adventure module that we used for many adventures in the setting of southern Rhovanion, centered around the trade town of Strayhold. The adventures take place in a city of lawless brigands, thieves, burglars and mercenaries, but also decent and honest refugees from the Gramuz and other Northmen tribes, who try to make their living. Many races and human people are represented here, from people from southern Harad to Asdriags and Variags but the majority are Northmen.

The Necromancer's Lieutenant

Beware of the dangers of the southern Mirkwood! Giant Spiders, bear, wolves, orc bands who ambush travellers but also those dangers, which are not that obvious: the deadly milk-white trumpet (in times of blossom) is one of the greatest dangers of the Mirk, its pollen cause nausea and blindness, sometimes even madness in those who come to near. The moss Din Fuinen can cause unaware sleeping travellers to loose their memory; a devastating effect in such a hostile environment.
